Field Operator – Nigeria Recruitment Event

About the role

We are looking for experienced field operators from Nigeria to support our industrial facilities in Qatar. The role involves operating and monitoring equipment in utilities, inlet receiving, sulphur recovery, or LNG units to ensure safe and reliable plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate field equipment according to approved safety procedures and standard operating instructions.
• Monitor, log and report all operating parameters, escalating irregularities to the supervisor.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance, perform electrical isolation/de‑isolation of low‑voltage systems, and recommission after work completion.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work processes and conduct field audits.
• Conduct safety walks, surveillance and observations to maintain site safety.
• Provide first‑line emergency response and support shift hand‑over briefings.
• Collect regular and special samples as directed.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary school education (12 years) and a vocational training programme certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of operator experience in utility, inlet receiving, sulphur recovery or LNG facilities.
