Field Service Engineer

About the role

As a Field Service Engineer based in Qatar, you will deliver technical support and engineering services for DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Asset Management Solutions (AMS). You will ensure reliable system performance through installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, supporting service contracts, system upgrades and project execution.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and system enhancements on DeltaV DCS and AMS.
• Execute on‑site services such as modifications, cybersecurity assessments, system evaluations, commissioning and start‑ups.
• Coordinate with global support teams and engineering experts to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians and identify service improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Control Systems, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related engineering field.
• Hands‑on experience with DeltaV systems, including configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to travel internationally (25‑40% of time).
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude with solid organizational skills.
