Finance Systems Manager (SAP S/4HANA)

About the role

The Finance Systems Manager will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the organization’s finance technology landscape, with a primary focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance. Acting as the bridge between Finance, IT and business units, you will ensure accurate reporting, automation, compliance and alignment with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and enhance finance systems, including ERP, SAP S/4HANA Finance, budgeting, forecasting and treasury solutions.
• Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, upgrades, migrations, roll‑outs and ongoing system improvements.
• Oversee configuration, testing, integration, deployment and performance optimisation of SAP FI/CO, Treasury, Cash Management, Group Reporting, Project Systems and Funds Management.
• Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Improve financial reporting, dashboards, analytics and management information systems.
• Ensure systems comply with accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain data accuracy, security, governance and access controls.
• Collaborate with IT teams, SAP partners, vendors and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technology solutions.
• Support internal and external audits and provide leadership to finance systems teams and key users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent are preferred; SAP S/4HANA Finance certification and PMP are an advantage.
• 10–15 years of experience in finance systems, ERP or SAP environments, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations, ERP implementations and digital finance initiatives.
• Strong understanding of finance processes including accounting, budgeting, reporting, procurement and treasury.
