Financial Controller – SAP & Excel Expertise

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the preparation, analysis and reporting of financial information for the Group. Working closely with the Finance & Admin Director, the role ensures accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and supports strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present SAPHIR reporting in line with Group guidelines.
• Produce financial reports for the regional office in Dubai and headquarters in France.
• Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting and maintain robust contracts and financial reporting systems.
• Update business policies, accounting practices and the Finance Department manual.
• Develop, maintain and analyse budgets, forecasts, profit & loss statements and business plans.
• Generate trial balances, balance sheets and periodic financial reports in Excel.
• Review GL entries, AR/AP, cash/bank postings and inventory movements.
• Oversee fixed‑assets register and project‑related asset tracking.
• Maintain the Anaplan system to ensure contract recording complies with IFRS.
• Assist the Finance & Admin Director with month‑end closing activities.
• Monitor changes in laws and accounting standards and ensure confidentiality.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance and audit.
• Advanced degree in Accounting; CPA, CMA or CA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, month‑end/year‑end close processes and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
