About the role

We are seeking a professional Waiter to deliver an impeccable, high‑end culinary experience to guests in our upscale restaurant in Doha. The role demands deep menu knowledge, flawless etiquette, and the ability to anticipate guest needs before they arise.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain exhaustive knowledge of the menu, ingredients, preparation techniques, allergens, and appropriate wine or cocktail pairings.
• Execute precise service techniques, including serving from the left, clearing from the right, and synchronized table drops.
• Read the table to tailor service style, anticipate needs quietly, and manage guest experience throughout the dining period.
• Guide guests through the menu, explain tasting menus, and recommend premium pairings, aperitifs, and digestifs.
• Communicate seamlessly with the kitchen regarding dietary restrictions, pacing, and order modifications.
• Ensure all silverware, crystal, and porcelain are spotless and perfectly aligned according to fine‑dining standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an upscale, fine‑dining or Michelin‑starred environment.
• Strong understanding of fine wines, spirits, premium ingredients (e.g., truffles, caviar) and classic culinary terminology.
• Exceptional poise, refined communication, and emotional intelligence to read guest cues.
• Immaculate personal presentation and strict adherence to uniform and grooming standards.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk gracefully for long shifts while handling heavy trays and large wine buckets.
