Food & Beverage Captain – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Food & Beverage Captain will lead the daily operations of the hotel’s dining venues, ensuring guests receive a memorable and high‑quality experience. Working within the InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa, you will coordinate the service team, uphold brand standards, and support seamless interaction between the kitchen and front‑of‑house.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily F&B team activities to maintain exceptional service standards.
• Lead by example, providing guidance and motivation to achieve operational excellence.
• Address guest requests, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of restaurant, bar, and banquet areas.
• Collaborate with the F&B Manager/Supervisor on inventory, stock levels, and supply ordering.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Manage reservations and seating to optimise table turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Facilitate clear communication between kitchen and service teams for timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar F&B role, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
