Freelance Claims Processing Agent – AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for experienced insurance claims professionals to join our AI training projects on a freelance basis. You will help evaluate and improve AI systems that process auto insurance claims by creating, testing, and grading realistic claim scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated auto‑insurance claim decisions for accuracy, coverage correctness and regulatory compliance.
• Design first‑notice‑of‑loss (FNOL) scenarios that include contradictions, decoy files and outdated documents to test system robustness.
• Write and grade fraud‑flagging scenarios using structured reason codes for Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals.
• Develop subrogation test cases that apply state‑specific negligence rules and estimate recovery likelihood.
• Document all test cases with clear answers, policy citations and payout calculations.

Required profile

• Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance claims, adjusting, legal or financial services.
• Current or recent hands‑on experience in claims adjusting or adjacent roles.
• Strong written English (C1+).
• Professional credentials such as AIC, CPCU, CIFI or SCLA are a plus.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of auto‑insurance coverage decisions and state‑specific negligence rules.
• Ability to create realistic claim scenarios and evaluate AI outputs.
