Front Desk Supervisor

About the role

The Front Desk Supervisor at Rosewood Doha ensures superior guest service and operational excellence across the front desk team, maintaining high standards of hospitality in a luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures and standards, ensuring daily compliance.
• Prepare and adjust weekly work schedules, manage attendance, and coordinate breaks for associates.
• Conduct pre‑shift meetings, inspect grooming and attire, and ensure all materials and equipment are ready for service.
• Monitor check‑in/check‑out processes, guest communications, mail handling, and express checkouts, addressing any issues promptly.
• Oversee cashiering procedures, ensuring compliance with finance policies, handling shortages, overages, petty cash, and closing reports.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, promotions and departmental policies.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs, resolve complaints, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Excellent organizational skills to monitor cleanliness, sanitation and work area readiness.

Required skills

• Proficiency in front desk operations and guest service software.
• Ability to manage schedules, staff performance and training.
