Full Stack Web Developer (React/ArcGIS)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Web Developer to lead the design and implementation of high‑performance geospatial applications. You will combine advanced spatial analysis with modern front‑end technologies to deliver intuitive location‑intelligence solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, scalable web applications using React Hooks, TypeScript, and state‑management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
• Integrate complex mapping features with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, including 2D/3D visualizations, feature layers, and spatial queries.
• Build and extend custom widgets for ArcGIS Experience Builder (Developer Edition) to satisfy unique business requirements.
• Optimize interaction with ArcGIS REST APIs and Feature Services to reduce latency and improve geometry rendering.
• Apply the Esri Calcite Design System to ensure consistent, accessible UI/UX across all geospatial tools.
• Collaborate with GIS analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, or a related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on ArcGIS web applications.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to explain complex spatial concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• React (functional components, hooks) and modern front‑end tooling (Vite, Webpack).
• TypeScript, Redux, Context API.
• ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (4.x) and ArcGIS Experience Builder.
• Esri Calcite Design System.
• ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro.
• OAuth 2.0 authentication.
• SQL (PostGIS, SQL Server) and Python (ArcPy) for data automation.
• Understanding of coordinate systems (WGS84, Web Mercator) and spatial algorithms.
