General Manager – Luxury Lifestyle Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished and commercially driven General Manager to lead Qabila Westbay Hotel, Autograph Collection, a distinctive luxury lifestyle hotel in Doha’s West Bay district. The role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire high‑performing teams, deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across all hotel operations, championing Marriott’s values and Autograph Collection brand positioning.
• Deliver budgeted revenue, GOP, EBITDA and market‑share targets while managing cost efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee rooms, food & beverage, engineering, finance, HR and sales to ensure consistent luxury service standards.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management to maximize commercial performance and market penetration across corporate, diplomatic, leisure and MICE segments.
• Maintain strong relationships with ownership, stakeholders and local community, presenting regular business reviews and aligning expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and guest satisfaction, monitoring online reputation and handling guest concerns.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years successful General Manager experience in an upscale, premium or luxury hotel.
• Strong background in hotel operations or sales & marketing/commercial leadership.
• Proven record of delivering financial results, market‑share growth and high guest satisfaction.
• Experience leading large teams and developing future leaders.
• Marriott International or luxury lifestyle brand experience preferred; Middle‑East experience desirable.
• Ability to work effectively with international ownership groups and asset managers.
