Gourmet Coffee Barista (Full‑time)

About the role

The Ritz‑Carlton in Doha is seeking an enthusiastic Gourmet Coffee Barista to join its Food & Beverage team. You will be responsible for delivering the brand’s Gold Standards of service while preparing high‑quality coffee and beverage offerings for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
• Take guest orders, record them in the MICROS system, and prepare coffee and food items.
• Handle cash transactions, operate the cash register system, count the bank at shift end, and complete cashier reports.
• Maintain clean workstations, coffee carts, tables, and dishware throughout the shift.
• Ensure appliances are turned on/off as required and manage inventory of coffee supplies.
• Provide courteous, professional service to all guests, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb without assistance.
• Physical capability to bend, twist, reach overhead, and navigate stairs or service ramps.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a cash register system.
• Experience using the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
