Gourmet Coffee Barista

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Gourmet Coffee Barista to join our food and beverage team at a Marriott hotel in Doha. The role involves delivering high‑quality coffee and service to guests throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the area.
• Take guest orders, enter them into the MICROS POS system, prepare coffee and other beverages, and handle cash transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee cart, tables, dishes, and work areas during the shift.
• Count cash at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies while providing courteous service to all guests.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior barista experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Experience operating a cash register and handling cash accurately.
