Graduate Trainee – Central Ops

About the role

HSBC Qatar is launching the O’fuq Graduate Trainee program, a 30‑month rotational scheme for new and recent graduates. Participants will rotate through four key divisions, gaining on‑the‑job training, professional development and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Complete four rotations across divisions such as Commercial Banking, Wealth and Personal Banking, Global Banking and Markets, Digital Business Services, Finance, and Risk & Compliance.
• Develop specialist knowledge through placements in banking operations and participate in leadership and personal growth activities.
• Build communication, influencing, business partnering, teamwork, and interpersonal skills across the organization.
• Participate in mentoring and leadership development programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area with a minimum GPA of 2.0/4.0.
• Knowledge of international business and various industry sectors.
• Strong teamwork skills promoting cooperation and trust.
• Analytical and financial skills, prioritization, organization, time management, decision‑making, and communication abilities.
• Appreciation of working in a global environment.
