About the role
The Groundskeeper ensures the hotel’s exterior areas remain clean, safe, and visually appealing for guests and staff. Working on a full‑time basis, you will maintain lawns, flower beds, pathways, and other outdoor features in accordance with the brand’s Gold Standards.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the appearance of lawns, flower beds, fountains, planters and other grounds features.
- Mow, edge, rake leaves and perform other lawn‑maintenance tasks.
- Water, weed, trim and care for plantings.
- Clean, refuel and store equipment after each use.
- Collect and bag trash from exterior containers.
- Repair or replace broken elements of sidewalks, driveways, cart paths and parking areas.
- Operate tractors, trucks or utility vehicles to transport tools and supplies.
- Follow all safety, security and company policies; report defects, accidents or unsafe conditions.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than one year of related grounds‑keeping or landscaping experience.
- No specific license or certification required.
