Head of Lifting

About the role

Provide strategic and technical leadership for the lifting discipline across major offshore and onshore projects, ensuring safe and efficient execution in line with company, regulatory and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical oversight for lifting activities on major projects, reviewing plans, risk assessments and execution strategies.
• Establish and maintain lifting assurance processes, investigate high‑potential incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Support selection, recruitment, competency assessment and deployment of lifting personnel.
• Standardise procedures, reporting and lessons learned across multiple projects and monitor performance trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years experience in large‑scale Oil & Gas projects and at least 2 years supervisory or leadership experience.
• OPITO LOLER Competent Person certification or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in lifting operations, equipment inspection, certification and verification.
