Head of Wealth Management (Qatar)

About the role

The bank is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Wealth Management to lead its wealth management proposition in Qatar. Reporting at the Unit Head level, you will shape strategy, drive product development and ensure regulatory compliance for high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the end‑to‑end wealth‑management proposition, including investment products, advisory solutions and discretionary portfolio services.
• Oversee product governance and suitability assessments to meet regulatory and risk standards.
• Coordinate between private bankers, risk/compliance teams and external product providers to streamline delivery.
• Drive revenue, AUM growth and market penetration across local and regional segments.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of product specialists, advisors and investment professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field; postgraduate degree or CFA/CAIA/CFP highly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in wealth management, investment advisory or asset management, preferably within the GCC banking sector.
• Proven track record in managing wealth products, cross‑border solutions and strict client suitability frameworks.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
