Head Spa Therapist

About the role

The Head Spa Therapist leads the spa team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with Resense’s vision and brand standards. Reporting to the Spa Manager, you will ensure all treatments are performed to the highest professional standards while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Spa Manager and Assistant Spa Manager in daily operations.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of all spa treatments, services, and operational procedures.
• Implement Resense Standard Operating Procedures, policies, and guest journey standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to therapists, identifying and addressing training needs.
• Ensure treatment rooms are prepared to standard, products are stocked, and any discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Oversee staffing levels, coordinate handovers, and monitor guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health, and safety throughout the facility.
• Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and reception duties as required.
• Perform opening/closing and Duty Manager duties when scheduled.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior spa or wellness role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of spa treatment techniques, product usage, and health assessments.
• Excellent professionalism, appearance, and ability to lead by example.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to guest requests and operational needs.
