Head Therapist - Spa

About the role

An Accor spa is looking for a Head Therapist to oversee daily spa operations, lead its therapists and staff, and drive both guest experience and business results. The role combines hands-on spa management with administrative and financial duties.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and service standards, and maintain professionalism and high-quality service across all spa functions.
• Train, supervise and support spa therapists and staff, promote effective communication within the team and with other departments, and support spa and wellness initiatives.
• Manage inventory, payroll and expense control, prepare reports on productivity, product consumption and financial performance, and set retail and treatment targets with the Spa Director.
• Train staff on upselling, develop promotional activities, and support sales growth.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining facility standards, anticipating guest needs, managing VIP arrivals, handling feedback and complaints, conducting regular quality checks and protecting guest confidentiality.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy or Beauty Therapy.
• Minimum 3-5 years of spa experience, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Deep knowledge of spa treatments, techniques and hygiene standards.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for wellness and service excellence.
