Health, Safety and Environment Officer - Gas Lift Project

About the role

Candidzone is recruiting experienced HSE officers for an ongoing gas lift project in Dukhan, Qatar. The role covers implementing and monitoring health, safety and environmental policies and procedures on site.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and site safety requirements
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits
• Identify hazards, assess risks and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy HSE requirements and applicable regulations
• Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) activities and ensure safe work practices
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and awareness sessions
• Investigate incidents and near misses and prepare reports
• Maintain HSE documentation and inspection records
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of activities

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience, including 4 years in oil and gas
• Valid QatarEnergy approval (mandatory)
• Valid e-PTW certificate (mandatory)
• NEBOSH qualification completed on or before 2022
• Minimum diploma qualification
• Good communication skills
• Availability for the required joining date
