Helicopter Captain - Sikorsky S92

About the role

The Helicopter Captain will lead safe and efficient operations of Sikorsky S‑92 helicopters, primarily supporting VIP and VVIP transport missions in and around Doha. The role demands strict adherence to civil aviation regulations, company SOPs, and security protocols while ensuring the highest level of professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all operational procedures and checklists in line with applicable regulations and company manuals.
• Conduct comprehensive pre‑flight planning, risk assessments, weather analysis, and mission briefings.
• Verify aircraft airworthiness, documentation, equipment, and operational approvals before each flight.
• Lead the crew, delegate tasks, and promote teamwork to achieve safe mission execution.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, providing necessary information for safe and efficient operations.

Required profile

• Current type rating on Sikorsky S‑92, preferably with at least 1,000 hours on type.
• Minimum 3,000 total helicopter flight hours, including at least 500 PIC hours and 100 PIC hours on the S‑92.
• Demonstrated experience in multi‑crew helicopter operations and VIP/VVIP transport.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety management principles, and operational procedures.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
