Assistant Logistics Manager

About the role

The Assistant Logistics Manager supports the Operations Manager in maintaining food and non‑food raw material inventories, controlling cost percentages, and ensuring timely logistics operations across stores, transport and production teams. This role acts as a key liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders to meet service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain food and non‑food raw materials while achieving food cost percentage targets.
• Balance labour cost percentages against business targets.
• Meet standards set by approved OKRs and SLAs.
• Liaise regularly with the Operations Manager and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Interface with Food Production and Pastry & Bakery teams to meet client deadlines.
• Interface with Support Services teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Support monitoring, maintaining, and scheduling of all work processes.
• Ensure all tasks are completed on‑time and in full across stores, logistics and transport.
• Communicate work process requirements and expectations clearly to department personnel.
• Ensure direct and indirect reports complete mandatory training courses.
• Develop direct and indirect reports through the annual performance appraisal system.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a similar logistics or transport role.
• Knowledge of logistics, transport, and warehouse operations.
