Helicopter Captain – VIP/VVIP Transport

About the role

The Helicopter Captain will lead safe and efficient VIP/VVIP transport missions from Doha, ensuring compliance with all civil aviation regulations and company procedures. This senior position demands meticulous planning, decisive leadership, and a commitment to the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all operational procedures and checklists in line with Civil Aviation Regulations, company manuals, SOPs, and security requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive pre‑flight planning, risk assessments, weather analysis, and mission briefings.
• Verify aircraft airworthiness, documentation, equipment, and operational approvals before each flight.
• Lead the crew, delegate tasks, and foster teamwork to achieve mission objectives safely.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders and ensure they have the information needed for safe operations.

Required profile

• Current type rating on AW189, AW139 and/or Sikorsky S‑92.
• Minimum 3,000 total helicopter flight hours, including at least 500 PIC hours and 100 PIC hours on the rated type.
• Proven experience in multi‑crew helicopter operations, preferably in VIP/VVIP environments.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, operational procedures, and safety management principles.
• Fluent English with effective communication and leadership abilities.
