Host / Hostess for Luxury Dining Experience

About the role

The Host/Hostess is the welcoming face of the dining experience at Raffles & Fairmont Doha, delivering warmth, elegance and personalized hospitality to every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests with professionalism and personalized attention, managing reservations and seating efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables, maintain knowledge of restaurant offerings, promotions and special events.
• Coordinate closely with restaurant and culinary teams to ensure smooth operations and anticipate guest preferences.
• Handle guest feedback, waiting lists and special requests while maintaining a polished hostess stand.
• Support administrative tasks such as reservation system management and guest communication.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in guest relations, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a warm, engaging personality.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation management systems.
• Basic computer applications.
