About the role
We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team at Banyan Tree Doha. As the first point of contact for guests, you will create a welcoming atmosphere and help ensure a smooth dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival, manage seating, and ensure the entrance is never unattended.
- Present menus, provide recommendations, take orders, and handle payments.
- Maintain proper uniform appearance and personal grooming while on duty.
- Report cleanliness, maintenance issues, and equipment failures to the supervisor or maintenance department.
- Handle guest complaints according to instructions or escalate to the supervisor.
- Participate in training, briefings, and maintain clean, organized side stations.
Required profile
- Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel or restaurant operations.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
