Hostess – Luxury Hotel Dining

About the role

As a Hostess at The Ritz-Carlton Doha, you will be the first and last impression of each guest’s dining experience. You will warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure a seamless flow of service while upholding the brand’s luxury hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, using guests' names whenever possible
• Manage restaurant reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus
• Maintain accurate waitlists during peak periods and communicate waiting times clearly
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth table turnover and service flow
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and special arrangements (VIPs, celebrations, dietary needs)
• Monitor dining area cleanliness, ambiance, and readiness at all times
• Answer phone calls, manage bookings, and respond to guest inquiries promptly
• Ensure adherence to Marriott and Ritz‑Carlton service standards and brand values
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine‑dining restaurant preferred
• Familiarity with Marriott systems or reservation platforms is an advantage
