Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

About the role

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet the brand’s high quality standards after they have been cleaned. This role coordinates with housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry teams to maintain seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool areas for cleanliness and compliance with standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms in collaboration with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute and communicate changes in room assignments to relevant shifts.
• Assist housekeeping management with daily activities, hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching.
• Act as liaison between housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry to coordinate efforts.
• Complete required paperwork and ensure adherence to safety, security and company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 55 lb (assistance for heavier items).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist and reach for extended periods.
