Housekeeping Assistant Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Assistant Manager supports the Housekeeping Manager in daily operations at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel By Tivoli. This role ensures guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces are clean, orderly and presented to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing and coordinating daily housekeeping activities.
• Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff, including room attendants, public area attendants and linen room personnel.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas and employee work areas for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies, linens and guest amenities.
• Schedule staff shifts, manage attendance and participate in performance reviews.
• Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly and courteously.
• Support compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of housekeeping experience, with minimum 1 year in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of housekeeping systems.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems such as Opera or HotSOS (optional).
