HSE Officer – Health, Safety & Environmental

About the role

An experienced HSE Officer is needed to support daily Health, Safety and Environmental activities across facilities‑management operations in Doha. The role involves conducting inspections, monitoring compliance, supporting incident investigations and promoting safe working practices throughout the site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections and hazard identification.
• Perform risk assessments and monitor Permit‑to‑Work activities.
• Ensure PPE compliance and deliver Toolbox Talks.
• Provide HSE inductions and support emergency response actions.
• Investigate incidents, near‑misses and maintain HSE documentation.
• Monitor contractor compliance and report observations with corrective actions.

Required profile

• Diploma, certificate or technical qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering or related field.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate and IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) certifications.
• 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience in facilities management, cleaning services, waste management, construction or similar operational environments.
• Strong competence in site HSE inspections, permit‑to‑work monitoring, contractor supervision and emergency response.
