Electrical Inspector – Pumping & Sewage Projects

About the role

Mott MacDonald is seeking an Electrical Inspector to monitor and inspect electrical works on pumping station and sewage treatment plant projects in Al Wakrah, Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect electrical works ensuring compliance with PPPA, QCS and international standards.
• Attend progress and technical meetings with authorities and the project company.
• Review shop drawings, as‑built drawings and conduct material inspections and site acceptance tests.
• Respond to inspection requests, conduct site inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Apply and implement QA/QC procedures, maintain progress reports and coordinate with other disciplines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience supervising electrical works on pump stations or sewage treatment plant projects.
• Good knowledge of local material standards and statutory requirements.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Required skills

• Electrical inspection and compliance with PPPA and QCS standards.
• QA/QC procedures for electrical works.
• Review of shop drawings and as‑built documentation.
