Industrial Hygiene Engineer (National Candidates Only)

About the role

The Industrial Hygiene Engineer will lead the execution of health and industrial hygiene programs at offshore and onshore sites. The role involves conducting risk assessments, monitoring environmental exposures, and supporting radiation protection and environmental teams. The position is full‑time, based in Doha with regular visits to offshore platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform industrial hygiene risk assessments for chemical, physical and biological hazards and develop corresponding risk assessment files.
• Monitor and map noise, air quality, chemical exposures and vibration on production platforms.
• Administer the Chemwatch chemical database, provide training and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with operational sites to review air‑quality monitoring data and support HSE superintendents.
• Assist radiation protection officers and the environment department on ionising radiation matters.
• Develop and update procedures for the Health and Industrial Hygiene Management System.
• Select, calibrate and maintain industrial hygiene equipment.
• Participate in inspections, audits and awareness campaigns related to health and industrial hygiene.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental science, engineering or health science (GHG/energy efficiency exposure preferred).
• Strong analytical abilities and good knowledge of chemistry, biology, physics and mathematics.
• Punctual, versatile and rational personality with effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
