Information Technology Specialist

About the role

The Qatar Motor Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) is looking for a skilled Information Technology Specialist to join its team. The role involves maintaining and enhancing the federation’s IT infrastructure, systems and processes to support daily operations and future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain hardware and software, including servers, networks and other IT equipment.
• Monitor network security, perform regular backups and develop disaster‑recovery plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures for efficient and secure technology use.
• Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and applications.
• Manage the organization’s website and social media platforms.
• Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve productivity.
• Stay current with emerging IT trends and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar IT role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software and networking concepts.
• Experience with network security, data backup and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; familiarity with motorsports is a plus.
