Infrastructure Architecture Consultant

About the role

The Infrastructure Architecture Consultant will lead the design and governance of cloud and on‑premise solutions, ensuring they meet security, performance, and compliance standards. You will work closely with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define architecture principles, patterns, and reference models for Azure and GCP environments.
• Review and validate solution designs from project and vendor teams for alignment with enterprise standards.
• Provide technical oversight during implementation, deployment, and post‑deployment phases.
• Evaluate scalability, performance, and security of proposed designs before approval.
• Lead migration and repatriation initiatives, such as moving workloads between Azure regions.
• Govern Identity & Access Management architecture, including Azure AD, Entra ID, and hybrid Active Directory.
• Oversee Office 365 collaboration services design (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and related security models.
• Validate network, firewall, ExpressRoute, backup, and disaster‑recovery configurations.
• Review infrastructure and database designs across Azure services (VMs, App Services, SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Define and enforce CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise cloud architecture and hybrid solutions.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Ability to guide technical teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing large‑scale migrations and vendor engagements.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
