IT Coordinator

About the role

The IT Coordinator will provide comprehensive technical support for Marriott International’s operations on The Pearl Island in Doha. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of the hotel’s computer networks, servers, and related hardware and software.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain computer networks, workstations, and server systems.
• Manage user accounts, telephone rooms, and backup procedures, ensuring data protection.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, LAN/WAN, and internet connectivity issues.
• Provide end‑user training on system usage and security best practices.
• Coordinate equipment installations, moves, additions, and upgrades.
• Implement and monitor network security measures.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets and manage disk space across the network.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant IT experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow company policies.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
