IT Executive

About the role

The Mövenpick Hotel Doha is looking for a proactive IT Executive to ensure the smooth operation of all hotel IT systems. You will provide technical support across departments, maintain system security, and safeguard data integrity in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support computers, servers, network devices, telephony, and POS systems.
• Provide timely technical assistance to users and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Install and configure IT equipment for new and existing staff.
• Monitor system performance and ensure efficient operation.
• Implement and test backup procedures regularly.
• Uphold IT security standards and protect systems from threats.
• Control user access and align permissions with job roles.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and upgrades.
• Document systems, licenses, and configurations.
• Support staff with basic IT training and usage.
• Assist with IT budgeting and reporting to management.
• Respond to IT emergencies and support operational needs.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 1–3 years of IT support experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Service‑oriented mindset with attention to detail.
