IT Project Manager – Asset & Wealth Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and banking transformation initiatives in Doha. The role will oversee end‑to‑end delivery of projects across front‑, middle‑ and back‑office systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through closure.
• Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements.
• Identify process gaps and propose improvement solutions.
• Lead delivery of AWM and broader banking IT projects, coordinating with business units, operations, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and prepare BRD, FRD, and business impact analyses.
• Oversee SIT, UAT, and production deployments, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks, providing regular updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of IT project management experience within the banking sector.
• Strong background in Asset & Wealth Management or Capital Markets, including custody, securities, and investment processes.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and vendors effectively.
• Experience delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
