IT Project Manager / Coordinator – Cybersecurity

About the role

The Project Coordinator / Project Manager will lead and oversee cybersecurity projects, acting as the main liaison between clients, technical teams, and internal stakeholders. The role ensures secure, efficient delivery of projects on time, within scope and budget, and in line with relevant cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) engagements, ensuring schedules and deliverables are met.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, handling queries, and managing requirements.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Assign and monitor tasks for ethical hackers, penetration testers, and other technical resources.
• Prepare and maintain Statements of Work, test plans, project reports, status updates, and closure documentation.
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, methodologies, and client requirements.
• Manage retesting activities, scope changes, and project extensions as requested by clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in IT security, penetration testing, VAPT coordination or cybersecurity project management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Knowledge of VAPT methodologies and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Understanding of basic networking and system concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with project management tools.
• Ability to produce professional project documentation and reports.
