IT Support Analyst

About the role

Parsons is looking for an IT Support Analyst to join its team in Doha, Qatar, providing onsite IT support for the Qatar region. The role covers end-user support for personal computers, workstations and related software and hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote IT technical support to end users of Parsons PCs, workstations and related software and hardware.
• Answer end-user IT questions and troubleshoot standard issues with hardware, software, peripherals or workstations, remotely by telephone, email or instant messenger.
• Categorize and isolate end-user issues, resolving them or referring them to senior Service Desk staff or other IT groups.
• Maintain general knowledge of the MIS environment and workstation configurations.
• Follow Parsons policies, procedures and standards when handling requests.
• Document and report all service requests and outcomes.
• Provide on-call Service Desk support for weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or diploma in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience supporting end users or in an IT support role.
• Ability to identify, analyze and resolve technical issues with hardware and software configurations.
• Written and oral English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate with employees, managers, clients and vendors, and to write moderately complex documents such as emails, procedures and presentations.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Office 365, antivirus, AI tools and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of PC technology, including Windows, Mac, printers, MDM devices and peripherals.
• Desired: Microsoft Certified Professional (Office 365), CompTIA A+, Copilot and AI tools knowledge, and ITIL certification.
