IT Support Technician – Full Time

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT Support Technician to join our team in Qatar. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and network infrastructure, ensuring smooth daily operations for end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, printers, and applications.
• Upgrade operating systems and applications as needed.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and network performance.
• Provide timely support to users via face‑to‑face or telephone, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Diagnose and resolve system and network problems, repairing or replacing components when required.
• Set up user accounts, configure Outlook, and run regular security scans on end‑user devices.
• Maintain inventory of technology items, printer consumables, and manage ticketing incidents.

Required profile

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as MCITP, MCSE, or CCNA.
• Experience with LAN administration, Windows Server, and Microsoft services (Domain, DNS, DHCP, Hyper‑V).
• Familiarity with backup solutions (SYMC Backup, SEMP) and Exchange management.

Required skills

• OSI and TCP/IP models, IP addressing, WINS, VPN, IPv4.
• PC hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Installation & configuration of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Network & security systems knowledge (firewall, UPS).
• Microsoft services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Hyper‑V.
• SQL Server, Exchange, printer and peripheral setup.
• Apple technology (advantage).
