About the role
The Junior Accountant will support the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports. This role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain journal entries, invoices, accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, monthly reports, and bank reconciliations.
- Process supplier payments, verify invoices, and monitor outstanding balances.
- Support month‑end closing activities, audits, and compliance with accounting standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, finance or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- ACCA or relevant accounting certification preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
