About the role
The Key Account Manager will drive sales growth and nurture strategic relationships with major healthcare providers, including hospitals, pharmacy chains, and health groups. The role focuses on expanding market share, meeting sales targets, and ensuring high customer satisfaction within the assigned sector.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals, clinics, pharmacy chains, and health groups.
- Develop customized account plans and sales strategies for top‑tier customers.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts in line with company policies.
- Manage order processing: receive RFQs, prepare quotations, secure purchase orders, and follow up on delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring timely product introductions and successful new‑product launches.
- Collaborate with KOLs to explore new business opportunities.
- Lead field forecasting efforts and coordinate with marketing, medical, regulatory, supply chain, and finance teams.
- Maintain confidentiality of all documents and adhere to company policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Medicine, or Veterinary.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years as a Key Account Manager.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the healthcare sector.
