About the role
The Laboratory Technologist performs a wide range of diagnostic tests on patient samples, ensuring accurate and timely results to support clinical decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct and record laboratory tests on body fluids and tissues, maintaining high accuracy and quality control.
- Maintain and calibrate high‑complexity instruments, manage inventory, and participate in equipment maintenance.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, report unusual results, and assist in research and development projects.
- Train junior staff, stay updated on new techniques, and contribute to quality improvement programs.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences or a related basic science field.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience, preferably in biochemistry.
- Valid primary license from the country of origin and eligibility for licensing in Qatar.
