Laundry Valet Attendant

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at a prestigious hotel in Lusail, Qatar, as a Laundry Valet Attendant. You will be responsible for ensuring guests’ linens and garments are cleaned, inspected, and returned to them promptly and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing, dry‑cleaning and drying machinery, adding appropriate chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
• Identify stained or damaged items and decide whether to re‑wash, spot‑treat, repair or discard.
• Inspect cleaned articles for quality, then place them in clean linen carts.
• Set dryer times and temperatures according to fabric type and load size.
• Remove lint, debris and filter residues after each cycle.
• Fold cleaned items by hand or using a folding machine to designated sizes.
• Maintain accurate records of all items processed.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting any incidents.

Required profile

• No formal education or prior experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lb.
• Willingness to work in confined, elevated or slippery areas and navigate stairs or ramps.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, professional appearance.

Required skills

• Basic operation of laundry and dry‑cleaning equipment.
• Attention to detail for inspecting and folding garments.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
