Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Line Maintenance B1

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1) to join our line‑maintenance team in Qatar. The role involves ensuring aircraft are released safely and on time while adhering to Qatar Airways and customer procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute line‑maintenance tasks efficiently, using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Review work procedures, propose improvements, and ensure final release of completed work.
• Maintain aircraft and component serviceability standards to meet schedule requirements.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers and implement solutions within authority.
• Supervise a team of mechanics or technical assistants, delivering guidance, on‑the‑job training and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• High School, vocational qualification or diploma with at least 5 years of related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of experience.
• Valid ICAO/QCAA license for the main fleet (minimum one full QR main fleet license).
• Strong managerial abilities: delegating work, setting direction, mentoring and coaching staff.
• Proven ability to train and develop subordinates and foster teamwork.
