Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Loss Prevention Officer to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and assets at our luxury hotel in Doha. The role involves patrolling the property, monitoring security systems, and responding to emergencies with professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, assist guests with room access, and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems, and respond to any alerts.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections, respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, interview involved parties, and complete detailed incident reports.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and ensure the orderly flow of operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in a hospitality environment.

Required skills

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Operation of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems.
• Use of perimeter alarm and duress alarm systems.
• Knowledge of fire life safety systems.
• Conducting investigations and interviews.
