Machine Operator – Digital Print & Fabrication

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our production team on an urgent basis. The successful candidate will operate digital printing and fabrication machinery, prepare print‑ready files, perform finishing works, maintain equipment and ensure high‑quality output for branding, events, exhibitions, signage and other fabrication projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large and small‑format digital printers (UV, solvent, eco‑solvent, latex) and related finishing equipment such as CNC routers, laser cutters and laminators.
• Prepare substrates, inks and materials, perform test prints, and adjust alignment, sizing and colour accuracy.
• Carry out cutting, trimming, laminating, mounting, routing and assembly of materials like vinyl, acrylic, MDF, foam board, aluminum and fabric.
• Prepare and verify print‑ready files (AI, PDF, PSD, EPS) and manage production queues using RIP software.
• Perform basic colour calibration, profiling and quality checks, and troubleshoot minor machine, mechanical and software issues.
• Conduct routine cleaning, calibration and preventive maintenance while following HSE and quality standards.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or certification in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Digital Print Operator, CNC Operator, Fabrication Technician or similar role.
• Strong practical knowledge of digital printing and fabrication machinery.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; basic InDesign knowledge preferred.
• Experience with RIP software, colour management and print quality control.
• Ability to read artworks, layouts, technical drawings and job instructions.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and physically capable of handling production materials.
• Immediate availability.
