Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor leads a technical team of foremen and technicians to execute maintenance work orders efficiently, ensuring compliance with SAP PM plans and site-specific requirements at Qatar Fabrication Company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate maintenance foremen and technicians, providing technical guidance.
• Oversee maintenance of fixed, portable and mobile plant equipment, including CNC, PLC‑based, hydraulic, welding, forklifts, MEWPs, generators and material handling assets.
• Maintain lifting and transportation equipment such as overhead cranes, portal JIB cranes, mobile cranes, crawler cranes, SPMTs and powered lifting appliances.
• Ensure accurate data entry, work order completion and reporting in SAP PM, reviewing man‑hours and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance windows and address equipment malfunctions.
• Facilitate safety procedures including TBT, PTW, energy isolation and HIT cards in line with QFAB QHSES requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Required skills

• SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) system.
• Knowledge of CNC equipment, PLC‑based systems and hydraulic machinery.
• Experience with welding, grinding, cutting and painting equipment.
• Proficiency in maintaining mobile plant assets such as forklifts, MEWPs, generators and compressors.
• Capability to maintain lifting equipment including overhead cranes, portal JIB cranes, mobile and crawler cranes, SPMTs and powered hoists.
