Manager - Financial Business Support (Qatarization)

About the role

QNB, Qatar's first Qatari-owned commercial bank established in 1964, is hiring a Manager for Financial Business Support (Qatarization). The role supports the SVP Financial Business Support in delivering management information systems (MIS) and reports that help management monitor business performance and make decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the SVP Financial Business Support in providing MIS, including ALCO reports, on time so management can monitor business performance and take action.
• Provide regular reports on progress towards targets, flag variations and perform initial checks on the reasons for under- or over-achievement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in finance, accountancy or a related subject.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, CMA or CFA is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a major bank in the financial business support function.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).

Required skills

• Knowledge of financial reporting processes and pronouncements, including IFRS and IAS.
• Proficiency in MIS tools and techniques, including valuation and pricing methods.
• Well-developed analytical and interpersonal skills, ability to deliver under pressure and to build relationships across the organization.
• Knowledge of accounting rules for the various products of the Group.
