Marketing Manager

About the role

The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of HBKU's marketing strategy, aligning it with the university's overall communications and strategic goals. This role oversees corporate, enrolment, business marketing, branding, events, and web development to enhance the university's visibility and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and deliver HBKU marketing strategy in line with the university’s communications plan.
• Oversee corporate, enrolment, business marketing, branding, events and web development functions.
• Create and maintain departmental guidelines, procedures and frameworks.
• Prepare the annual marketing business plan, budget and monitor expenditures.
• Provide marketing support for all HBKU entities, including campaign design, event guidance and conference support.
• Maintain and evolve HBKU branding strategy, brand identity and corporate messaging.
• Conceptualise, plan and execute marketing projects ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets.
• Design and implement advertising campaigns to promote strategic activities and increase participation.
• Approve content for all marketing projects and ensure alignment with HBKU messaging.
• Develop and maintain HBKU e‑channels such as the website and e‑marketing platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of full‑time marketing experience, preferably in higher education, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of marketing communication, branding and advertising strategies.
• Proven ability to think strategically and inspire teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in Arabic and English.
• Experience working with creative agencies.
