Mechanical Technician – Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

About the role

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, supporting the team, and contributing to departmental improvement initiatives. The role also includes reporting any faults to the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) accurately and on time.
• Carry out corrective maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain high quality standards in all work performed.
• Assist subcontractors with their assigned tasks.
• Report defects, breakdowns, and damages to the Fault Reporting Center or engineering staff.
• Follow duty rosters, spare‑part requirements, and instructions from TO, STO, and Engineers.
• Take care of tools, test equipment, and perform any other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS standards.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and within constraints.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
