MEP Engineer

About the role

The MEP Engineer will lead the coordination, installation, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on construction sites. You will work closely with civil, architectural, and structural teams to ensure seamless integration of all trades.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise MEP works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Review shop and construction drawings, identify design conflicts, and maintain inspection records.
• Monitor daily and weekly progress, compare against schedules, and report delays with corrective actions.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and hand‑over activities.
• Enforce HSE procedures, ensure proper PPE use, and address safety hazards promptly.
• Manage material deliveries, storage, and resource allocation to keep work on schedule.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers to resolve MEP issues and obtain approvals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEP coordination on construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project schedules, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with multidisciplinary teams.
